Who We Are
Overview
Founded in 2006, the Southern California College Access Network is an alliance of over 50 nonprofit organizations working to increase the number of low-income students who access and complete a postsecondary education. Together, our members provide direct services to more than 75,000 students and families in the region with the goal of ensuring low-income students are prepared academically, financially and socially for success in college and beyond.
Our network includes:
- Community-based college access programs
- National and state-wide advocacy, research and educational organizations
- Philanthropic partners supporting the work and vision of SoCal CAN
- Higher education institutions committed to increasing college-going for low-income students.
